Well it went like this....Tennyson was taking a long afternoon nap so I let the boys paint some tiny rocks on the porch (controlled setting supposedly), while I was preparing supper. Well, they painted the tiny rocks and moved on to bigger and better rocks along our pathway. One thing we love about our homefront is its natural setting. Well, when Mark came home from work we walked out to see some new plants I had planted in the garden to find rock graffiti. It reminded Mark of growing up in the city in California and seeing graffiti all over building etc...Well I went on active blog duty (taking the images below), Mark begrudgedly helped the kids scrubbed rocks. Thankfully, it was Crayola's wonderful washable paint bu tit took some elbow grease to get it off the thirsty, pourous rocks.
The look says it all (above)!
Below: It is amazing how a bucket of water is SO much FUN!
They have now said it was a lot of work to get the rocks clean and they would paint on paper...only time will tell. Here is a picture of Braxton painting a picture, on paper, for his Kindergarten teacher that he really misses.
