Easter

After worship we came home and we all took a much needed nap. We had a fun egg hunt. It turns out that our pigs like to hunt eggs to. They mastered opening them and helping themselves to a sweet treat. Then we had supper at Waffle House with my parents and Mr. Michael Askew.

Soccer Game Three

Hard work pays off. The children on our team performed a great game which resulted in a win for them 8-0!  The kids were focused and followed through on their kicks and backed-up their teammates.  It was fun for us to watch them have fun playing.

This storm front began moving in during our game but the clouds were just majestic!

Friends are great

It was such a pleasure to have one of my best friends and her family visit.  Stephanie and I met when we were Freshmen at Harding University.  We eventually became roommates and have been friends ever since.  Now we both have three children each and they all enjoy playing with each other.  It is hard that the distance between us keeps us from seeing each other as much as we like but we just treasure our time together.

Braxton took this of Steph and I.

The Muffin Team

We decided to make some banana nut bread with some old mushy bananas. I was trying to teach the kids that even though they were past the eating stage they were perfect for cooking. Needless to say we had a lot of fun in the kitchen today.

Soccer Game Two

Asher must have asked me a hundred times today how much longer to his soccer game.  This is the same child that told us that he didn't want to play anymore because it involved too much running.  Now he begs to play offense (more running than defence position).  It was a win 6-0!
